C & M Construction Limited are committed to the drive to help reduce environmental waste & contamination. As part of that commitment we have set up a materials recycling facility in the North.

As part of our Mission within the construction industry in Ireland we feel that a new policy of environmental awareness on the part of everyone within our industry can only be of benefit to all & will ultimately lead to a better environment for everyone. Our site has been set up to crush & grade previously excavated materials to be set aside for re-use on either the contract they have come from or to be used on other contracts.
Further to our recycling facility we have set up a concrete batching plant within the facility which will make use of appropriate recycled aggregates in the batching of concrete for sites.
C & M Construction & Fitzpatrick U.K.
As part of the works undertaken in Dublin Airport by C & M Construction Limited under the framework for air-side works C & M Construction were contracted to erect & maintain a fully working concrete manufacturing plant. This plant was erected in mid-2007 in partnership with Fitzpatrick's U.K. Limited.
As a result of the presence of the plant a number of contracts undertaken by both companies on behalf of Dublin Airport Authority have been supplied with concrete from this plant, in particular PQ apron works such as the Mike2 taxiway, The T2 Apron construction, Apron reconstruction works & various other contracts which are still on-going.
The benefits of the concrete manufacturing can be seen in the efficiency & productivity shown on the contracts in question.
C & M Construction & L. Behan & Sons.
The Airport airside framework contract for the Bravo taxiway overlay saw the requirement for an on-site tar production plant. The plant was erected by late August 2008 & went into production in September 2008.
The plant is the first step in full-time bituminous materials production for C & M Construction Limited & as part of the expansion of our manufacturing ability it will be crucial to future contracts with a large bituminous materials quotients.
